Air Vacuum Excavation System "Air Knife"

H.A.D., Inc. Is pleased to announce the purchase of an Air Vacuum Excavation System. Our System 4000 is 50% more powerful than the current industry leader in vacuum excavation equipment.
Note the following details about our unit:
| • | Our unit is diesel powered with 1000 CFM of vacuum power and 400 Gallon holding tank capacity. There is an 85 gallon water tank on board and 3000 PSI of water for digging. An on board air compressor provides 300 CFM/220 PSI for air lancing capabilities and 100 PSI for air tools. We offer a barrel-top soil interceptor for placing spoils in drums. The unit is 27 foot long. |
| • | Clears a 12” x 12” x 5’ hole in approximately 10 minutes. (Based on manufacturers information) |
| • | Can penetrate ground frost. |
| • | Has a water back up system, if needed (if sticky clay is encounted). |
| • | Equipped with an on-board jack hammer and air powered hand tamper unit to compact backfilled soils upon completion. |
| • | Separates spoils and water so you can backfill with the soils and dispose of the water separately. |
| • | Primary use is for underground utility location, however it can be used for gas or water line services and manway, well vault, and valve box cleaning. |
| • | Air is faster and safer than water and will not harm underground utilities (water has the potential to damage underground utilities). Air is non conductive if electrical lines are involved. |
| • | Eliminates mud disposal problems. |
| • | Is DOT compliant. Air won’t damage the road base. |
| • | Traffic direction board and flashing beacons for added safety. |
| • | Collected spoils remain dry for fast, efficient backfilling. |
| • | H.A.D., Inc.’s services will hand clear all holes, cut all pads, backfill, compact and repair the surface with black top patch. It can also be called out after drilling for clean up purposes if required. Wash down parking lot and remove spoils. |
